How big is it?
This ceramic mug holds approximately 300ml, which is a little bigger than a standard coffee cup. A comforting everyday mug that you’ll use for everything.
The handmade process
I glaze each hand-thrown ceramic mug all over in my classic white before dipping it for a second time into my midnight blue glaze. The white glaze comes through the blue glaze, giving a gorgeous speckled effect. The bottom of the mug is wiped clean to leave an unglazed rim, creating a lovely contrast in textures where the clay shows through.
Because they’re hand-thrown on my potter’s wheel in my Wiltshire studio, every ceramic mug is ever so slightly different, but that’s what I love about handmade ceramics.

I love this mug, it is a really nice shape to hold and the blue glaze is beautiful. It’s been through the dishwasher multiple times and comes out fine.
