The handmade process
Each ceramic mug is hand-thrown on my potter’s wheel in my home studio in Wiltshire. I glaze each one on the inside with a shiny white glaze before dipping in one of four different glaze combos. The overlapping shades give a gorgeous blend in colour, and as they’re all made by hand, every travel mug is unique. Midnight is a deep, inky blue that reminds me of the calm of the night sky.
