The handmade process
Each ceramic mug is hand-thrown on my potter’s wheel in my home studio in Wiltshire. I glaze each one on the inside with a shiny white glaze before dipping the outside in one of four different blends on the outside. The overlapping layers create a beautiful blend of colours, and as they’re all handmade, every ceramic mug is one of a kind. Sea Dawn is a soft, misty gradient of pale sky-blue fading into creamy beige, which reminds me of the coastline first thing in the morning.
