Description
Serving wine straight to the table always feels that little bit more special. I love this ceramic wine cooler for a weekly date night, dinner parties with friends, or simply enjoying a cold glass of white wine at the weekend when the kids are asleep.
How big is it?
There’s plenty of room to add a handful of ice cubes, so your bottle can be kept at just the right temperature until you pour the last drop.
The handmade process
I glaze each ceramic wine cooler on the inside with a shiny glaze before dipping it from the rim down in one of three different colours on the outside. The top of this cooler is coated in a speckled white, while the bottom is left unglazed to reveal the natural clay beneath, giving a lovely tactile contrast in textures.
Because they’re hand-thrown on my potter’s wheel in my Wiltshire studio, no two ceramic wine coolers are ever the same, but that’s what I love about handmade ceramics.
Looking for a handmade gift?
This hand-thrown wine cooler would make a thoughtful handmade wedding gift for the couple who love entertaining or simply enjoying a glass of wine at the weekend. When it’s not keeping a bottle cool, I think it doubles up nicely as a utensil holder or even a vase for the dinner table, making it a lovely housewarming gift.
If you are buying this ceramic wine cooler as a present and want me to wrap it for you, simply select the ‘Gift Wrap’ option once it’s in your cart, and I’ll ensure it’s beautifully packaged so it’s ready for you to gift straight away.
